Adria Signal · editorial policy
How Adria Signal verifies, corrects, and publishes
The policy identifies who is accountable, how versions and corrections are recorded, and where automated assistance stops. Final wording always receives human review.
Every claim needs a traceable record
- Finding
- We include a claim in an edition only when it has a named source, comparable period, clear coverage, and stated limitation.
- Evidence
- Ivan Boban performs final human review of sources, calculations, the wording of findings, and their link to the management question.
- Decision implication
- Readers can distinguish an official figure from editorial interpretation and inspect the evidence behind the claim.
Bounded use of AI does not replace the editor
- Finding
- AI may assist with structuring working material, checking consistency, summarising notes, and reviewing language.
- Evidence
- AI does not independently select a source, approve a figure, form a conclusion, or publish without human verification.
- Decision implication
- Responsibility for accuracy, context, authorship judgement, and the final version remains with the named editor.
A material change receives a visible note
- Finding
- A source revision may be technical, or it may materially change the figure, conclusion, and decision for which the edition provided evidence.
- Evidence
- Every edition has a version marker, and a material change receives a new marker and a public note describing its effect.
- Decision implication
- Readers can identify the version they used and decide whether an earlier assessment needs review.
Independence and legal working drafts
- Finding
- Editorial decisions are separated from the publisher’s technical services for hotels and hospitality businesses and from any individual client interest.
- Evidence
- Legal working drafts remain in English until they receive separate financial and legal review.
- Decision implication
- An unreviewed translation is not presented as completed legal text, and a business relationship does not alter source or correction standards.
Responsibility for the policy
- Cosmic Production d.o.o., Split is the legal publisher, and Ivan Boban is responsible for the final editorial decision.
- This page describes process and introduces no new tourism metrics or data periods.
- Correction requests go to ivan@mojradnik.com.hr and are assessed by their effect on the published finding.
- Bounded use of AI always remains subject to final human review.
